The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Western Wisconsin
* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 815 PM
until 100 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Ongoing severe storms will continue to spread east of
Tornado Watch 194. The threat for tornadoes should gradually
diminish as the storms move into this watch area, though a tornado
or two may occur through about 10pm CDT. Otherwise, occasional
large hail and damaging gusts will be the main threats before the
storms weaken near or just after midnight.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30
statute miles east and west of a line from 95 miles north northeast
of La Crosse WI to 35 miles south southeast of La Crosse WI. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
