The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
  Southern Arkansas
  Northern Louisiana
  East Texas

* Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 730 PM
  until 200 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...A large cluster of thunderstorms approaching east Texas
will track across the watch area this evening and early tonight.
Damaging winds a isolated tornadoes will be possible with the
stronger cells.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 95 statute miles
east and west of a line from 15 miles south southeast of Lufkin TX
to 55 miles northeast of Texarkana AR. For a co*plete depiction of

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
