...NO CRITICAL AREAS...
A consideration was made to add an isolated dry thunderstorm area to
portions of northeast New Mexico for tomorrow/Tuesday. However,
isolated to potentially scattered thunderstorms in this region may
quickly grow upscale and produce more appreciable wetting rains,
with dry strikes expected to remain sparse. When also considering
the modest receptiveness of fuels, isolated dry thunderstorm
highlights have been withheld this outlook. Otherwise, the previous
forecast (see below) remains unchanged.

.PREV DISCUSSION... /ISSUED 0142 AM CDT Mon Jun 06 2022/
...Synopsis...
A midlevel speed maximum will cross the central Rockies, promoting
dry/breezy surface conditions across parts of southern Wyoming.
However, fuels are generally not supportive of wildfire spread
across the area. Farther south, a dry airmass will remain in place
across the Southwest into parts of southern CO, though surface winds
should generally remain weak where the driest conditions are
expected. With that said, pockets of elevated conditions will still
be possible over terrain-favored areas given the presence of
critically dry fuels.
