The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
The central and eastern Oklahoma Panhandle
The north central and northeastern Texas Panhandle
* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 540 PM until
1100 PM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...Clusters of high-based storms will continue to spread
north-northeastward this evening, with an attendant threat for
occasional severe outflow gusts up to 70 mph and large hail up to
1.5 inches in diameter.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35
statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles west southwest
of Guymon OK to 85 miles east southeast of Guymon OK. For a co*plete

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
