Valid 201200Z - 211200Z
Added an Elevated delineation across northern Oklahoma and southern
Kansas. Other than a few isolated thunderstorms, much of this area
has been dry over the past 2 to 3 weeks with 30 day observed
precipitation 25 to 40 percent of normal. Fuels have started to cure
and therefore, with winds of 15 to 20 mph expected and 25 percent
relative humidity, elevated conditions are likely.

...Synopsis...
An upper-level anticyclone will remain stationary across the central
and southern CONUS as an upper low persists along the West Coast
tomorrow/Tuesday. The primary difference in the synoptic scale
weather pattern co*pared to Day 1 is that a surface cold front will
sag southward across the Plains states, with surface high pressure
ushering in from behind and overspreading much of the Northwest.
While dry and breezy surface conditions may occasionally develop by
afternoon across parts of the Great Basin into the Plains states,
dry northerly winds may also occur to the east of the Cascades,
driven by a pressure gradient to the west of the surface high. Given
modestly dry fuels, Elevated highlights were added across southern
Washington into northern Oregon.
