The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  East central and southeast Lower Michigan
  Northwest Ohio
  Lake Erie
  Lake Huron

* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 415 PM until
  1000 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...A squall line across Lower Michigan and northern Indiana
will continue eastward through late evening, with an attendant
threat for damaging winds of 60-70 mph.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40
statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles north northwest
of Bad Axe MI to 15 miles south of Findlay OH. For a co*plete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
