0118 AM CDT Mon Aug 29 2022

Valid 311200Z - 011200Z

...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not expected on Wednesday.

...Synopsis...

An upper trough will lift northeast across New England on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, an upper ridge will persist across the western U.S. At
the surface, a cold front will develop eastward across New England,
moving offshore the Atlantic coast by late afternoon/early evening.
A moist airmass will reside ahead of the front, but poor lapse
rates, ongoing showers/thunderstorms and lack of heating will limit
severe potential. The cold front will extend westward across the TN
valley into the southern Plains, sagging southward through the
period. Thunderstorms will be possible in the moist/unstable airmass
ahead of the front. However, very weak vertical shear will limit
organized severe potential.
