...Synopsis...
On Saturday, an upper-level trough is forecast to move slowly
eastward over the eastern CONUS while an upper-level ridge builds
over the West.  Relatively moist conditions and light winds are
expected across most of the CONUS, limiting the overall fire-weather
concerns.  While thunderstorms are expected over dry fuels across
portions of central Idaho and southwestern Montana on Saturday, the
relatively moist environment will likely support thunderstorms
capable of producing wetting rains.
