The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 519
continues.

SUMMARY...Isolated, marginal hail or wind gusts remain possible
across southern portions of the watch, and from parts of central
Georgia into far southern North Carolina.

DISCUSSION...Numerous storms persist from northern SC into much of
southern NC where the air mass is overturning rapidly. These storms
are producing a co*posite outflow boundary which is moving slowly
south this evening. Isolated cells also persist from western SC into
central GA, near the instability axis and aided by weak convergence
near the surface trough. 

Although heating has been lost, the air mass remains uncapped away
from the coast, with ample moisture to sustain a few storms this
evening. Winds just off the surface and extending to 850 mb are
forecast to strengthen this evening to 25-30 kt by 03Z, and this
will maintain theta-e advection out of the southwest and ahead of
the wind shifts. As such, the threat for isolated marginally severe
storms may continue through the evening beneath modest northwest
flow aloft, but additional watches are unlikely.
