...Synopsis...
An upper ridge will shunt westward a bit on Day 2/Monday co*pared to
Day 1, with weak surface cyclone development possible in the Plains
states, where some areas may experience beneficial rainfall. With
large-scale forcing remaining weak, overlapping dry and breezy
conditions should remain localized to terrain-favoring areas and at
Elevated thresholds from the Cascades into the northern Rockies and
perhaps parts of the central into the southern Plains.
