NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0130 AM CDT Thu Jul 07 2022

Valid 081200Z - 091200Z

...Synopsis...
Similar to Day 1, a mid-level trough will remain in place across the
western U.S. as upper ridging persist over the central CONUS
tomorrow/Friday. Once again, surface lee troughing is expected to
develop across the Great Basin and southern High Plains tomorrow
afternoon, supporting dry and breezy conditions. Elevated dry and
windy conditions should overspread widespread dry fuels across the
Great Basin, necessitating Elevated highlights. Across the southern
High Plains, the localized nature of dry and breezy conditions atop
spotty receptive fuels suggests that fire weather highlights are not
currently needed.
