The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Northern Indiana
Southern Lower Michigan
Northwest Ohio
Lake Michigan
* Effective this Tuesday morning from 1250 AM until 700 AM EDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible
Scattered large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...A cluster of storms near the Chicago area as of 1145 pm
CDT/1245 am EDT will continue east-southeastward overnight across
the region and pose mainly a damaging wind and isolated severe hail
risk.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles west of South
Bend IN to 55 miles northeast of Fort Wayne IN. For a co*plete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
