The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Western to central Montana

* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 310 PM until
  1000 PM MDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...A few supercells should develop from western into central
Montana this evening with a threat for isolated large hail and
severe wind gusts.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75
statute miles north and south of a line from 15 miles northwest of
Drummond MT to 50 miles northeast of Billings MT. For a co*plete

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
