The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 430
continues.
SUMMARY...A threat for damaging winds and isolated large hail may
persist into west-central Indiana.
DISCUSSION...An ongoing cluster of storms, with a more dominant
supercell storm continues to move more southeastward this afternoon.
These storms will likely continue to move along the instability
gradient as dewpoints slowly increase in far western Indiana.
Effective shear of 40-50 kts and 1000-1500 J/kg will support a
threat for mainly damaging winds and possibly isolated large hail
with any supercell structures. The eastward extent of the threat
will be the main uncertainty as dewpoints do decrease into central
Indiana.
