The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Eastern Minnesota
Northern Wisconsin
* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 855 PM
until 200 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...A well-developed line of severe thunderstorms will
continue to move east-northeastward on the northern edge of a moist
and unstable airmass. The line is expected to pose a wind-damage and
isolated large hail threat from far eastern Minnesota into northern
Wisconsin through early tonight.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles north and south of a line from 95 miles west southwest
of Kennedy WI to 45 miles south southeast of Ironwood MI. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
