Day 2 Fire Weather Outlook
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0132 AM CDT Thu Aug 18 2022

Valid 191200Z - 201200Z

...Synopsis...
Broad cyclonic upper flow will enco*pass much of the CONUS
tomorrow/Friday, both with an upper trough across the Midwest and
over the Pacific Northwest. Across the Northwest into the northern
Rockies, mid-level monsoonal moisture will foster buoyancy ahead of
the western upper trough to support high-based thunderstorm
development. Isolated dry thunderstorm highlights were introduced
since some of the thunderstorms may overspread patchy dry fuel beds,
particularly across western into central Idaho.
