The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Central Nebraska

* Effective this Thursday evening from 655 PM until 1100 PM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...A small cluster of storms, with embedded supercell and/or
bowing structures, will likely persist for the next few hours while
spreading east-southeastward across central Nebraska.  Isolated very
large hail up to 2 inches in diameter and severe outflow winds up to
70 mph will be possible with the cluster of storms.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles northwest of
North Platte NE to 35 miles south southeast of Burwell NE. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
