The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  North Dakota

* Effective this Sunday morning from 245 AM until 900 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
    to 85 mph possible
  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...An intense and well-organized cluster of storms currently
across southwest North Dakota as of 245 AM CDT will quickly continue
generally eastward overnight, likely to especially impact
south-central North Dakota with very strong/damaging thunderstorm
wind gusts. Areas generally near Interstate 94 (generally from about
30 miles south of I-94 to around 60 miles to the north) appear
particularly vulnerable to these wind gusts overnight.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70
statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles south of
Garrison ND to 75 miles east northeast of Jamestown ND. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
