Day 2 Fire Weather Outlook
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0130 AM CDT Tue Jul 05 2022

Valid 061200Z - 071200Z

...Synopsis...
A very similar weather pattern to today will ensue for
tomorrow/Wednesday, with an upper ridge remaining in place for the
central U.S., and broad mid-level troughing continuing across the
Interior West. At the surface, lee troughing is expected across both
the Great Basin and southern Plains. Elevated highlights were
introduced across the Great Basin since Elevated surface winds/RH
are expected to be more widespread here, with fuels receptive to
fire spread. Across the southern Plains, receptive fuels will be
spotty at best, with favorable dry and windy conditions and an
associated wildfire-spread threat materializing on a more localized
basis.
